In week 5 we are supposed to create/add/edit/share documents within GoogleDocs and then compare it to other similar tools (ie: Zoho). The questions we have been asked to ponder are:
Is this the future of all software products? What do you think?
GoogleDocs is what I am familiar with. I have not had a chance to test other web office tools. I have however uploaded documents and invited some members of a subcommittee I am on to view the documents I have created for us. Since I am in MD, one is in Washington, DC and the other in NC, I thought GoogDocs would be a great way to collaborate.
Neither of my colleagues have used GoggleDocs before so I thought it was worth a try. I will let you know how it works out after our first conference call.
Do you have any suggestions?
